Trent Lock Scout Activity Centre

Long Eaton Scouts welcomes you to Trent Lock Scout Activity Centre (SAC) which is a water based activity campsite set on the banks of the River Trent. It is situated in Derbyshire on the south bank of the River Trent near its junction with the Erewash Canal, south of Long Eaton. It is approached from the north bank of the Trent, where the Scouts ferry takes you across the river to the landing stage.

Trent Lock SAC is dedicated to giving young people an opportunity to experience paddlesports, sailing, raft building and other adventurous activities in a safe and fun environment! If you are looking for a place where young people can experience a combination of activities, then check out our centre. The site offers camping and water activities to Scouts, Guides and youth members of other organisations. During the camping season (April-October) water activity camps are very popular over the weekends and will typically include a variety of adventurous activities on the water. Evening visits are welcome especially by local Scout and Girlguiding members

Trent Lock SAC is run by a team of around 80 volunteers who are all members of the Trent Lock Scout Active Support Unit which is part of Long Eaton Scouts.

On the webpage you can find more details about the activities we offer and how to book. We look forward to welcoming you.
